Azulejos
a film about the delicate relationship between personality and memory. the story of a girl who has to learn to meet her grandmother all over again. as she is ready to announce to her, her relationship with another woman, she must confront the uncertainty of not knowing if her grandmother is ready to receive the news.

pre-production
drafting and spacing out the set space were done in collaboration with cinematographer julie peley. working alongside storyboards and shot lists, we brought in and distributed large probs such as furniture, and much later minor probs, to work in agent with facilitating the task of lighting and grip departments. the objective was to create a synergic space that facilitated the telling of the story, and the visual objectives of the cinematographer.
